Despite rumours and speculation, a marquee signing has yet to join the LIV Golf League ahead of the 2025 season.
Thus far, small-name signings and trades between teams have been made. Chinese Taipei star Lee Chieh-po is the latest addition, having won the Promotions Event in Riyadh.
Elsewhere, the Iron Heads signed South Korean star Yubin Jang, and Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces added Thomas Pieters to their ranks after he left the RangeGoats.
Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII is also eyeing a new signing after confirming Kieran Vincent’s departure on Tuesday evening.
Legion XII confirm the departure of Kieran Vincent

Vincent, who finished inside the drop zone, saw his LIV future thrown into doubt upon the conclusion of the 2024 season. After failing to return via the International Series and Promotions Event, the 27-year-old’s fate was confirmed by Legion XIII’s official X account.
“Kieran will be leaving #LegionXIII after relegation from @livgolf_league in the 2024 season. Kieran’s hard work, talent and one-of-a-kind personality will be missed. It’s been an unforgettable year together! Thank you, Kieran,” they wrote.
However, the 2024 LIV Golf champions weren’t finished there.

Legion XIII drop clue on new LIV Golf signing
With Vincent now leaving Legion XIII, Rahm will need to make a new addition before the 2025 season begins in February.
And, unsurprisingly, speculation immediately emerged.
A fan on X asked Legion, “Wishing Kieran the best. Is there something cooking for that new spot available?” The LIV Golf champions replied with a side-eye emoji, perhaps indicating that a new addition was close.

It’s unclear who will join Legion XIII at present. Tony Finau was heavily linked to LIV before he eventually shut down speculation. The American is close friends with Rahm and would’ve been an ideal replacement for Vincent.
An up-and-coming Spanish player joining shouldn’t be ruled out as well. As showcased on the DP World Tour, there’s a plethora of talent emerging from Spain, and there’s no doubt many would be eager to join Rahm on LIV.
