LIV Golf quickly moved on from The Masters with its event in Mexico City, as the PGA Tour also continued its busy schedule.
Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak won the Zurich Classic in New Orleans, where Rory McIlroy competed alongside Shane Lowry.
The duo failed to recreate their success from 2024, with McIlroy playing his first tournament since winning The Masters.
Lowry loved playing with McIlroy, with that tournament coinciding with the LIV Golf stars taking on their latest event in Mexico City.
That event was won by Joaquin Niemann, who now already boasts three wins for the 2025 season after his LIV Golf Mexico City triumph.

Joaquin Niemann under more pressure than Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka at the PGA Championship
But such success will simply pile the pressure on the Chilean for the PGA Championship, the next major tournament on the schedule.
Just like his appearance at The Masters, where he finished T29, Niemann has received a special exemption to play at the PGA Championship.
His fellow LIV Golf stars Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka are among the players under pressure to perform at the major, which takes place at Quail Hollow next month.
The former is a two-time major winner but has yet to win the event, while three of the latter’s five major wins have come at the PGA Championship.

Rahm is second only to Niemann in the LIV Golf individual standings, but will be desperate to improve upon his recent T14 finish at Augusta National.
Koepka meanwhile missed the cut at The Masters and is in need of a bounce-back at Quail Hollow, but he and Rahm could benefit from a lot of eyes being on Niemann.
| Tournament | Position | R1 | R2 | R3 | R4 | Total | To par |

Many golf fans think they know how Joaquin Niemann will do at the US Open
The Chilean has been in fine form in LIV Golf this season, with his Mexico City success following wins in Adelaide and Singapore.
Niemann was backed for Masters contention, but he fell well short in Georgia, ending his four rounds on even par.
Having already taken on Augusta, the two-time PGA Tour winner is set to play in all four majors for the first time since 2023, having just clinched a US Open exemption with his latest LIV Golf success.
But many golf fans are not expecting big things from the 26-year-old, with one writing on X: “Another top 30 finish coming!!”
A second said: “Incoming can’t crack a T10 in a major” as a third commented: “Should put him right in line for a nice T30 at the next major.”
A fourth wrote: “Can’t wait for him to finish T32 in all of the majors. Dude comes up so small in the spotlight. LIV is perfect for him,” with another fan saying: “That’s good, maybe he’ll be able to finish top 15 in a major for the first time.”
