The Wyndham Championship 2024 starts on Thursday! The Golfing Gazette explains how to watch, predictions, prize money, dates, and everything you need to know.

The four majors and, most recently, the Olympics have been played and so the 2024 season now enters its closing stages.

Indeed, the Wyndham Championship is the last PGA Tour event before the FedEx Cup Playoffs – typically the last few events on the calendar for the best players in the world.

With playoff places up for grabs and others in danger of dropping out, there is a lot more than just the prize money to play for this week.

The likes of Jordan Spieth, Shane Lowry, Min Woo Lee and Brian Harman will be teeing it up on Thursday, in a surprisingly good field considering the Olympics just took place.

Here’s all the important information about the Wyndham Championship 2024.

Predictions

The Golfing Gazette writers predict who they think will walk away with the Wyndham Championship title and grand cash prize:

Jordan Harris: “Si Woo Kim secured his first PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship in 2016 and then reached a play-off back in 2021. He only has one top 10 in 2024, but he also only has one missed cut, and a win would go a long way to ensuring that he will be at the Presidents Cup and Tour Championship.”

Peter Lynch: “Brian Harman is yet to win in 2024, but the American is due a victory, with Sedgefield certainly suiting his game better than many others. With a handful of top 10s and a second-place finish at The Players, Harman could be one to watch at Wyndham.”

Sam Stone: “Billy Horschel is the man to back this week. The American missed the 3M Open through injury but was within two shots of his first major win two weeks ago at Royal Troon. His record around this week’s venue is also impressive. Furthermore, with his FedEx Cup place currently secure, the pressure if off; something which can’t be said for the likes of Jordan Spieth and Min Woo Lee.”
