As the PGA Tour season draws to a conclusion, those over at LIV Golf will no doubt have their eyes fixed on potential recruits.
Jon Rahm has reportedly been working on LIV’s latest recruitment drive as Greg Norman and Co. look to build on an impressive third season.
For LIV to grow, new faces must emerge, and those who leave the breakaway tour must be replaced.
Here, The Golfing Gazette shares its view on three PGA Tour players who COULD be enticed by a big-money LIV Golf offer.

Hideki Matsuyama
With talk of a LIV Golf stop in Japan, speculation on Hideki Matsuyama’s future will no doubt emerge in the coming weeks and months.
Greg Norman has spoken to Matsuyama, and it’s no secret that LIV admires the former Masters champion.
Given the worldwide nature of the LIV tour and reduced schedule, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Matsuyama was open to the idea.
If a move materialised, the 32-year-old would be viewed as one of LIV’s most significant captures.
Viktor Hovland
Norwegian star Viktor Hovland has been heavily linked with LIV, and the 26-year-old could well be on Norman’s radar once more.
LIV targetted Hovland immediately after the Masters, and it remains to be seen if an offer has actually materialised.
The 2023 FedEx Cup champion has been up and down since the turn of the year and could potentially view a PGA Tour exit as a positive.
Hovland has admitted he could be open to LIV move later in his career, so it will be interesting to see if LIV officials reignite their interest in the Norwegian.
Matt Kuchar
LIV kicked off its franchise by signing older players who were entering the twilight of their careers: Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Ian Poulter, and Lee Westwood.
Matt Kuchar finished 105th in the FedEx Cup standings and fits the bill as an older head LIV could target.
The 46-year-old has banked nearly $60 million during his career and could be tempted by one last big payday and reduced schedule over a LIV.
Although there are no substantiated rumours linking Kuchar to LIV, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if his name is mentioned among those in positions of power on the breakaway tour.
