LIV Golf are the talk of the golfing world once again just days after The Masters finished with Scottie Scheffler winning again.
Scheffler took home his second green jacket but while he’s had plenty of plaudits, talk has soon switched to LIV and their recruitment again.
Reports have claimed that LIV have made a move for Rory McIlroy in a deal that could be worth as much as $850m.
Since those initial reports, it’s been suggested there is nothing in it as yet. Although, as they always say, there’s no smoke without fire.
As we know already LIV have made a huge splash in recent years. After initially getting the likes of Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau onboard, Greg Norman made big moves late last year to bring in Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm.
And according to The Guardian, LIV are now eyeing their next major move as they look to bring in a six-time PGA Tour winner.

LIV Golf looking to sign Viktor Hovland after Rory McIlroy rumours
According to the report from The Guardian, it’s suggested that Viktor Hovland is the next big target for LIV and their chief recruiters.
It comes as a number of players who signed initial three-year deals with the organisation are due to see those contracts expire in 2024.
Hovland has been linked with a move to LIV before and has also spoken out against some of the things the PGA Tour and Jay Monahan have done and said.
It’s suggested that should Hovland move to LIV, it will put further pressure on the tours to come to some sort of deal given the current restrictions on Ryder Cup selections.
LIV would have Hovland, Hatton and Rahm all part of their tour, effectively risking a quarter of Luke Donald’s successful European team being ripped away.
Hovland is a six-time winner on the PGA Tour and won the FedEx Cup back in 2023.
He endured a nightmare few days at The Masters though as he failed to make the cut.
