Jon Rahm is doing something ‘low-key’ at LIV Golf, which should raise concern at the PGA Tour ahead of the 2025 season.
The Spaniard completed his blockbuster move to the breakaway league in 2023 and has enjoyed an excellent debut campaign.
Rahm has been critical of some of LIV’s rules, but, for the most part, his game has looked in good shape. The two-time major winner edged out Tyrrell Hatton to land his maiden LIV title at JCB Golf and Country Club last week.
Now Rahm is in Paris looking to continue his excellent form and land a 2024 Olympic medal.

Now that the LIV Golf season is edging towards its conclusion, an eye has been cast ahead to 2025.
As a result, talk of who could potentially move to Greg Norman’s venture has emerged. It’s believed Rahm is now working behind the scenes to recruit LIV’s newest stars.
“He’s all-in on LIV and has already been low-key recruiting Tour players to join his team next year,” wrote reliable journalist Alan Shipnuck [My Golf Spy].
Two PGA Tour stars who could make the LIV Golf move in 2025
There are two prominent PGA Tour names who look primed to make the move to LIV Golf in 2025.
After false rumours surrounding Rory McIlroy emerged, LIV officials quickly turned their attention to Viktor Hovland. Reports suggest the Norwegian is the next big name on LIV’s list, with several players seeing their three-year contracts expire at the end of the season.
However, Hovland has insisted a move to LIV doesn’t appeal to him at this point in his career.
Hideki Matsuyama is another name heavily linked with a PGA Tour exit. In an interview with Australian Golf Digest, LIV CEO Norman publicly admitted he’s chasing the Japanese star.
Adding the former Masters champion and a LIV event in Japan doesn’t feel out of the realm of possibility in 2025.
