The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship starts on Thursday, and there are some high-profile names set to feature at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.
LIV Golf stars Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm are set to tee it up at the DP World Tour event. Koepka loves St Andrews and committed to playing the event before the LIV Individual Championship.
Rahm is eligible to play because an appeal has been lodged with the European authorities. Currently, Rahm is reluctant to pay his outstanding fines, which have been accrued due to his presence on LIV.
Elsewhere, due to the pro-am team event running alongside, several big names are set to feature.

According to a report from The Telegraph, PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan is set play alongside Billy Horschel, who is coming off his BMW PGA Championship win at Wentworth.
Furthermore, it’s believed the governor of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, is also expected to tee it up on Scotland’s east coast.
LIV Golf—funded by the PIF—recently attempted to strike a deal with the DP World Tour that would settle all outstanding fines.
LIV Golf and PGA Tour yet to strike a deal
After fresh talks between the PIF and PGA Tour took place in New York last month, there was hope an agreement would soon be reached.
However, Monahan hasn’t set a new deadline, and the current divide within the game shows no sign of ending.
Some of the game’s most influential players are desperate for a resolution. Rory McIlroy wants a merger to happen, and the Northern Irishman is also at the home of golf this weekend.
With so many influential names at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, headlines surrounding the PIF and PGA Tour will undoubtedly emerge.
