Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele have been enjoying their time on the PGA Tour together this season.
Cantlay praised the Signature Events, with all those in this week’s BMW Championship having qualified for next year’s events.
He sits ninth in the FedExCup points list, and currently ninth in the world rankings, with Schauffele in second in both.
Cantlay loves playing at The Riviera Country Club, but must now battle it out with the FedEx top 50 at Castle Pines Golf Club.
The Colorado course is set to put the world’s best to the test, with the top 30 players then qualifying for the Tour Championship.

Patrick Cantlay reveals practice match battle with Xander Schauffele
Cantlay will be seeking to rise the leaderboard after finishing T12 at the St Jude Championship, with Schauffele having finished T2.
Cantlay has now looked ahead to another battle with his close friend, having been asked in his press conference if he has any side action with Schauffele this season, and if so how far behind he is.
“We have action at home all the time,” said Cantlay. “He’s been getting the better of me as of late.
“He’s played really well this year. It’s been fun to watch. We are really good friends, and he’s playing extremely good golf. I played with him yesterday, and it’s a pleasure to watch out there.”
Asked if he is trying to get one up on his rival over the coming weeks, Cantlay responded: “Yeah, I try to get one up on him every day.”
Can Xander Schauffele win the BMW Championship?
Viktor Hovland is among the in-form players heading to the BMW Championship, with the defending champion finishing T2 with Schauffele at the St Jude.
The Norwegian moved to 16th in the FedExCup points list after his display, with Hideki Matsuyama rising to third after winning the first playoff event.

But it is world number one Scottie Scheffler who remains top of the pile, having finished fourth in Memphis last week.
Not far behind is Schauffele, who looks set to push his compatriot all the way this week and indeed at the Tour Championship.
The pair have dominated the PGA Tour this season, boasting three major wins between them, with fellow American star Bryson DeChambeau winning the other.
Cantlay favoured Scheffler over Schauffele when giving his verdict on the Player of the Year, which could definitely go either way.
