Tiger Woods has been forced to delay the start of his latest PGA Tour season once more, having just undergone surgery.
Dan Rapaport thinks it could be it for Woods, who is set to miss a large chunk of the season after having Achilles tendon surgery.
Ludvig Aberg hopes Woods can recover woon, with the 82-time PGA Tour winner last playing at The Open Championship last summer.
He has been able to compete on TGL, although his Jupiter Links GC side failed to make the playoffs in Florida.
The 15-time major champion made just five starts on the PGA Tour in 2024, playing in the four major championships after the Genesis Invitational.

Dan Rapaport tells golf fans what to stop doing with injured Tiger Woods
It remains to be seen how long his latest setback will keep him sidelined for, but Rapaport is desperate for one particular storyline around Woods to stop as soon as possible.
Speaking on the Dan on Golf podcast, he said: “I think we have to officially just stop with that. Stop with the, oh he’s going to play more this year.

“This one just felt like there was some finality in this one. With other injuries he had a minor knee surgery or minor back surgery, to rupture Achilles.
“If you could choose it is one of the worst injuries you could give an athlete, especially to a 49-year-old who has to swing into his left side. It’s just sad. I’m really bummed he won’t be at the Masters playing.”
Dan Rapaport laments recent Tiger Woods results after latest setback
Unfortunately, it may just be it for Woods, who has really struggled to keep himself fit when it really matters.
And furthermore, when he has been able to make it to the course, the 49-year-old has struggled to find any consistency whatsoever.
He withdrew early during the Genesis Invitational last time out, but recovered to finish 60th at the Masters.

But Woods then missed the cut at the PGA Championship, US Open and The Open, with Rapaport saying of his recent results: “It has been over four years since the accident.
“His best finish in four years is a T45 at the Genesis Invitational. That Hero World Challenge was 18th out of 20 players. So it wasn’t good before this.”
Why Tiger Woods injury cannot be compared to Bernhard Langer
Rapaport also discussed Woods’s injury in relation to that of fellow legend Bernhard Langer, who suffered the same problem last February.
Langer made a rapid recovery from his achilles injury, but Rapaport is reluctant to compare the two players, particularly after Woods said his heart wasn’t into practising after the recent passing of his mother.
“A lot of people were comparing him to Bernhard Langer who came back from an Achilles tear in three months,” said Rapaport. “Langer, despite being 18 years older than Tiger, his body is in much better condition than Tiger’s is.
“Coming back from an Achilles is brutal for someone at the top of their career and if his heart isn’t in it, you just have to wonder.”
