It wasn’t to be for Bryson DeChambeau at the PGA Championship as he saw Scottie Scheffler win out again but the US Open holder has once again shown his class by taking to social media.

DeChambeau was right in the mix going into day four at Quail Hollow but some sloppy iron play and some missed putts meant he never closed the gap.

It is the second major running where DeChambeau has had a chance at winning, only to see his chances slip away.

DeChambeau was disappointed after losing to Scheffler but one thing he has done all week at Quail is show his dignified side.

And now, over on social media, DeChambeau has broken his silence.

Bryson DeChambeau sends message to Scottie Scheffler after PGA Championship defeat

DeChambeau has won praise already for his sportsmanship at the PGA and in fairness to him, he was right there waiting for Scottie Scheffler at the scorer’s hut.

Still, the loss obviously stung for DeChambeau and it was clear that he felt this one a bit.

However, that hasn’t stopped him showing yet more class and gratitude and over on X, DeChambeau has now posted his first message and praised Scheffler.

The US Open is up next for DeChambeau and after two near-misses, he’ll be desperate to retain his crown at Oakmont after winning in such dramatic fashion last year.

A matter of time before DeChambeau wins another major

Bryson DeChambeau is growing increasingly popular in the world of golf and it’s no surprise that he is also playing extremely well.

Despite being told he needs to improve his irons to succeed further, DeChambeau is more than capable of winning on any given week.

With five top ten finishes in his last six major attempts – including that memorable win at Pinehurst – it very much feels we have a player here who is destined to win more.

DeChambeau is getting close to that third major. In fact, should he end 2025 with number three, then there’ll be little to no surprise at all in the golfing community.
