LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau and PGA Tour poster boy Rory McIlroy have never seen eye-to-eye.
DeChambeau is everything that McIlroy isn’t really – a boisterous and highly energetic entertainer who is trying to become as popular as he can, as fast as he can.
Meanwhile, McIlroy goes about his business a lot more quietly than DeChambeau, albeit still in a hugely entertaining manner due to his incredible talent.
The Northern Irishman’s approach to the game is more natural, whilst the two-time US Open champion’s feels like a nurtured one.
DeChambeau is one of the few golfers who joined LIV and have still remained competitive after. He has been a genuine contender to win five out of the past six majors.

He was right in the mix at Augusta National last month, before flattering to deceive on the final day.
DeChambeau criticised McIlroy for not speaking to him during the final round at The Masters.
And whilst the American received a lot of criticism for those remarks, this time it is the 35-year-old Masters champion who is on the wrong end of some harsh words.
Bryson DeChambeau exposes Rory McIlroy following day three at the PGA Championship
DeChambeau was stunned by his poor finish at the PGA Championship on day three at Quail Hollow.
The 31-year-old American held the lead after his birdie on the 15th hole on Saturday.
However, he dropped three shots in his final three holes, and ended the day six shots adrift of Scottie Scheffler.
Meanwhile, McIlroy’s week has never got going from the start.
He is currently sitting at two-over-par for the tournament, way down in a tie for 49th position.
Something just hasn’t been right with McIlroy this week. He seemed off during his press conference on Wednesday before the tournament even began.
And now McIlroy has turned down interviews with the media after his rounds for three successive days.
It has been a poor tournament from start to finish for McIlroy this week, both on and off the course.

And DeChambeau has completely exposed McIlroy’s shortcomings.
DeChambeau shows McIlroy how it’s done
There can’t have been many players who experienced a finish as poor as DeChambeau over Quail Hollow’s ‘Green Mile’ on Saturday.
However, DeChambeau didn’t shy away from his commitments to speak to the press.
He went into the media centre and talked about the ins and outs of his round.
It was a great example to set, especially to the younger generation of golf fans. However bad things get on the course, players should act the same as when they are enjoying success.
Golf is a game of honour, respect and integrity, and that seems to be have been lost somewhere along the line with certain players.
McIlroy has let himself down badly this week at the PGA Championship, and DeChambeau has exposed his flaws.
