Bryson DeChambeau finally made a hole-in-one over his house after providing 16 days of entertainment for the golfing world.
DeChambeau’s ace came on ball number 14 of the 16th day, and some fans are now upset the challenge is over. But, given the 31-year-old’s social media presence, he will no doubt have fresh content ideas in the pipeline.
In fact, it was remarkable that the entertainment lasted so long, considering how close DeChambeau had come to an ace on multiple occasions.
During the two weeks, the LIV man saw efforts cannon off rocks, skirt past the pin, and even miss after colliding with balls on the putting surface.
Interestingly, despite coming close on multiple occasions, DeChambeau actually made an ace far quicker than the statistical average anticipated.

DeChambeau confirmed the yardage was 95 yards in his recent Break 50 attempt alongside Tom Brady. So, let’s take a look at the odds from 100 yards.
According to clever research from Golf.Com, a hole out by a professional from 50 yards is 300/1, and from 100 yards, it’s 900/1.
Given the odds triple every time the yardage doubles, it’s challenging to truly place a number on the statistical chances of a 95-yard shot hitting the back of the cup. However, after crunching the numbers, DeChambeau had an 811/1 shot of making the ace.

Given that DeChambeau made his hole-in-one on his 134th attempt, the LIV Golf man has defied the odds on this one.
In fact, if the law of averages had played out, the American could have spent a long time working on the challenge. Had DeChambeau made an ace on the 811th attempt, he would’ve spent 40 days at the task.
Of course, other factors made the challenge more straightforward for the 31-year-old, but he has undoubtedly completed it far quicker than the odds expected him to.
