Another edition of The Masters has now concluded, with Rory McIlroy helping complete a very successful tournament for the PGA Tour.

McIlroy is extremely proud after emerging victorious at The Masters, with his win helping him secure the career grand slam.

The playoff success over Justin Rose comes after his two titles at the PGA Championship and one each at the US Open and The Open Championship.

McIlroy now has 29 career PGA Tour wins to his name, three of which have arrived in the 2025 season alone.

Max Homa was a big winner at The Masters despite Rory McIlroy’s triumph

Seven of the 12 made the cut at The Masters, with Patrick Reed their best finisher in the leaderboard as he clinched solo third.

But also impressing at the major championship was Max Homa, who can hold his head higher than most after finishing T12.

Max Homa scoring stats from The Masters

Homa was tipped to win The Masters this week, despite having not made the weekend in a tournament with a cut since The Open Championship last summer.

And while he didn’t clinch the green jacket, the American carded rounds of 74, 70, 69 and 71 to finish on four-under.

He certainly worked hard for success on the course on the range during his time in Georgia, having hit a mammoth 247 practice shots on the Tuesday.

Homa had been enduring a miserable season on the PGA Tour going into The Masters, with just two cuts made from eight events.

A T26 finish at The Sentry was his best result, with the 34-year-old also posting a T53 finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as well as withdrawing during the Farmers Insurance Open.

Max Homa 2025 PGA Tour results

Adding to his problems, Homa split with long-serving caddy Joe Greiner earlier this month, with the latter moving on to assist Justin Thomas at The Masters.

But Homa should gain great confidence from his finish at Augusta, as he looks for a seventh PGA Tour win and first since the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open.
