Ludvig Aberg produced a superb display to win the Genesis Invitational, a tournament hosted by legendary figure Tiger Woods.
Aberg called Woods the ‘goat’ after winning the Genesis Invitational, having finished on 12-under at Torrey Pines.
Maverick McNealy finished one shot behind Aberg in California, with Patrick Rodgers and Scottie Scheffler finishing T3.
Aberg now has two PGA Tour titles to his name at the age of 25, having triumphed at The RSM Classic back in 2023.
Woods thinks Aberg is a ‘super nice guy’, with the pair having caught up after the tournament, which was moved from Riviera Country Club to Torrey Pines due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Tiger Woods shares Torrey Pines love with Ludvig Aberg after Genesis Invitational
Aberg and Woods both made quick departures to Florida right after the latest PGA Tour event for the TGL.
But the pair did manage to first share a moment in California as the Swede posed for photos with his prize, as documented by the PGA Tour.
“Is this one of your favourite tour stops?” Aberg asked Woods, who replied: “It is. I’ve won here, what is it… seven Buicks and one US Open, one Junior World when it used to be played here.”
“Oh yeah, that’s right,” replied Aberg, with a laughing Woods light-heartedly responding: “A long time ago right?”

Woods was unfortunately not able to take part in his own tournament, having been mourning the sad loss of his mother.
He did, however, grace Torrey Pines with his presence, which will have delighted his fellow PGA Tour members and indeed supporters at the event.

Just seeing the 15-time major champion on the course should be enough to inspire any player, never mind conversing with Woods and hearing anything he has to say about the game of golf.
But Aberg has proven that he is more than capable of producing fine displays of his own, with the Swede even shining in virtual golf after his fantastic Genesis Invitational win.
He remarkably featured in back-to-back TGL matches at the SoFi Center shortly after his second PGA Tour title, helping The Bay Golf Club to two victories.
Woods meanwhile represented Jupiter Links GC a day later, but his side were beaten heavily by New York Golf Club.
