The Ryder Cup has almost arrived, with Team USA and Team Europe starting to shape up for Bethpage Black.
Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood qualified for Team Europe following the FedEx St. Jude Championship, which was won by the former.
They have joined Rory McIlroy in automatically qualifying for Luke Donald’s Ryder Cup team at this stage of proceedings.
For the US team, J.J. Spaun qualified for the Ryder Cup following the PGA Tour event in Memphis, where he lost in a playoff to Rose.
He has joined Scottie Scheffler in automatic qualification, with captain Keegan Bradley confirming Bryson DeChambeau’s Ryder Cup spot last month.

What many golfers have told Steph Curry about the Ryder Cup
The LIV Golf star is certain to bring the noise at Bethpage Black, where the home fans will be trying to pile the pressure on the visitors.
And that scenario for the team event has really excited basketball star Steph Curry, who is also an avid golfer.

He told Sky Sports: “I am super excited. The best part of the Ryder Cup is watching it every year, whether it is on American soil or somewhere in Europe, it is something to look forward to for the golf fan and even the non-golf fan.
“New York is going to be rowdy, it is going to be loud and I know the US is looking to bounce back so I am super excited.
“I have never been to Bethpage but I know it is going to look good on TV too so it should be good to watch.
“It will be edgy and contentious I am sure, in all the best ways where you will get the chants on the first tee.

“It is going to be loud from the time the sun comes up in the morning and there is just going to be a sense of pride that you feel for the home fans.
“I know all the professional golfers who play in all the Ryder Cup teams, they all talk about it, like there’s nothing like that environment.
“I got to go to the one in Whistling Straits and be inside the ropes and feel it and there is nothing like it so I can only imagine what it will feel like in New York.”
What major events has Bethpage Black hosted ahead of the Ryder Cup?
Bethpage Black is certain to provide a real test for everyone taking part in the next Ryder Cup, even the hosts.
They can, however, expect to experience heavy backing from the home fans, as was the case for Team Europe in Rome in 2023.
Marco Simone played host to a superb home display last time out, where the Europeans defeated their fierce rivals 16½ – 11½.
America will now be looking for a similar outcome at Bethpage Black, which has already played host to a handful of major events, including the US Open in 2002 and 2009, and the 2019 PGA Championship.
Tiger Woods won that first major championship as Lucas Glover followed suit seven years later, while Brooks Koepka emerged victorious at the New York course six years ago.
