Keegan Bradley has a lot on his plate right now, with just two months remaining before the start of the Ryder Cup.
Bethpage Black will be the venue for the Ryder Cup this year, and Bradley and his players will be cheered on vociferously by the New York crowd.
However, the 39-year-old U.S. captain does have a conundrum or two on his hands ahead of the showdown with the Europeans.
One of them is whether or not he should play as well as captain the team in September.
Rich Beem suggested on Sunday that Bradley should give up the Ryder Cup captaincy, if he is planning to play at Bethpage.

Numerous top American players have backed Bradley to play at the Ryder Cup, but it remains to be seen whether he will perform both roles.
The second dilemma on Bradley’s agenda is who he selects to play on the team. He has six captain’s picks available, and the big concern for him is that a lot of the players currently outside the top six are in patchy form right now.
US golf fans react to Keegan Bradley’s Bryson DeChambeau Ryder Cup announcement
Bryson DeChambeau is an exceptional golfer, and he proved just how much fight he has in him at The Open, after carding an opening round of 78.
He followed that up with rounds of 65, 68 and 64 at Royal Portrush, and that fightback from the 31-year-old clearly struck a chord with Bradley.
DeChambeau has been in fine form this season, with three top 10s and two top-5s in the majors to his name, as well as a win on LIV Golf.
He is the best driver in the game right now. In 2025, DeChambeau has added some real accuracy to his mammoth length off the tee.
He is tied 12th in fairways hit on LIV this season – a remarkable stat for someone who is ranked first in driving distance.
After The Open Championship ended, Bradley confirmed that DeChambeau would be on the team at Bethpage.

The Ryder Cup captain said: “Bryson is going to be a very important piece to us winning the Ryder Cup….He brings so much. He brings energy, passion but most importantly, he’s one of the best players on the planet.”
It’s clear to see that the American golf fans are delighted that DeChambeau is in the team.
Fans react to Keegan Bradley’s Bryson DeChambeau Ryder Cup decision
DeChambeau is currently sitting inside the top six on the U.S. Ryder Cup points list.
However, he will not accumulate any more points between now and September, so there is a chance that he could drop outside the automatic qualifying spots.
And Bradley confirming that he will be on the team has been greeted with joy from the American golf fans.
One fan took to social media platform X and said DeChambeau being on the team means that they will now watch the event: “Fantastic, now I can watch it. Wasn’t planning on it without DeChambeau.“
While another said: “Earned it! Deserves it! Somebody else besides Keegan to Fire up this Team! Bryson brings The Heat that Will Fire up the HOME TOWN Crowd. Let’s Go!“
A third fan very simply suggested that Bradley has nailed it, “Bingo. Great call.“
Meanwhile, a fourth fan said: “Common sense prevails.“
A fifth American fan made his feelings clear by saying: “Not a LIV fan, but he has certainly earned it.“
While a sixth said the LIV star is perfect for a Ryder Cup at Bethpage: “Bryson on stage in NY… it’s a no brainer and a perfect setting.“
A seventh simply said: “Smart move.“
Then an eighth golf fan said: “NOT a LIV fan but he’s worthy of a spot, as a matter of fact he is the only guy on LIV I would like back on the tour.“
Before one fan took a sarcastic approach when reacting to the news: “Using Common Sense for Ryder Cup captain’s picks???? Wow. What a novel concept, thank goodness.“
