Justin Thomas is seeking a second PGA Tour win of the season at the Truist Championship, having just won the RBC Heritage.

Thomas helps complete a star-studded field for the Truist Championship, which gets underway at Philadelphia Cricket Club on Thursday.

Scottie Scheffler has skipped the Truist Championship, but Thomas is joined by the likes of Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa.

Thomas finally ended his PGA Tour title drought at the RBC Heritage last month, having previously last won at the 2022 PGA Championship.

But he is now a 16-time champion, having also finished as runner-up on two occasions in the 2025 season so far.

The Truist Championship represents the next Signature Event in the 2025 PGA Tour calendar, with McIlroy having won the tournament last year.

And Thomas is certainly looking forward to the competition this week, sharing images of the course and a video of himself on the range with the caption on social media.

He wrote on Instagram: “It’s tough to beat the look of an old school golf course. Short par 3’s, small undulated greens, crazy bunkering… so good!

“Philly Cricket is awesome and a great mixture of short gettable holes and long and difficult. Ready to get after it this week at the Truist Championship!”

It was, however, known as the Wells Fargo Championship when McIlroy came out on top in 2024, with the Northern Irishman winning at Quail Hollow.

That is also the venue for next week’s PGA Championship, a competition Thomas has won twice in his glittering career.
