Tiger Woods is playing alongside his son Charlie at this weekend’s PNC Championship in Orlando.
Tiger and Charlie have competed four times at the PNC Championship but have never won the event.
Charlie, however, is rapidly improving and is a highly competent golfer at the age of just 15. Charlie’s ball speed is above the PGA Tour average, and Tiger will want his son to do most of the heavy lifting this weekend.
Of course, as with most father-son combinations, the pair are incredibly competitive, and Tiger has now revealed whether Charlie has ever beaten him over 18 holes.
Has Charlie Woods ever beaten Tiger Woods over 18 holes?

Speaking during his pre-tournament press conference on Friday evening, Tiger confirmed that Charlie had beaten him over nine holes before but is yet to achieve the feat over a full round.
“Yeah, he beat me for nine holes. He’s yet to beat me for 18 holes,” Woods said. “That day’s coming; I am just prolonging it for as long as I possibly can.
“We just have so much fun going out there competing and playing.”
Charlie Woods’ golfing achievements
Charlie fell into golf after the COVID-19 pandemic limited his opportunities to play team soccer. Tiger, the 15-time major winner, has reportedly coached Charlie and caddied for his son at times during tournaments.
Charlie has two notable junior victories on his resume. In June 2023, he won the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s Major Championship by eight strokes. Furthermore, in September 2023, he won the 14–15 age division of the Last Chance Regional golf tournament.
One of Charlie’s more high-profile appearances came during the 2024 US Amateur after he won the qualifying event. Unfortunately, he failed to make the cut after finishing at 22 over.
Charlie also entered pre-tournament qualifying for the PGA Tour’s Cognizant Classic in February. It remains to be seen whether he will follow in his father’s footsteps in the professional scene.
