Anthony Kim’s LIV Golf future remains unclear after the American struggled upon his return to professional golf in 2024.
Kim earned around $5m for signing up to LIV, but the 39-year-old failed to contend in any of the 11 events he participated in.
Kim claimed improvement was coming in August; however, the American’s LIV future is now up in the air after the conclusion of the season in Dallas.
It’s understood LIV are keen to add Kim to an existing team next season, but this scenario now appears unlikely. Nevertheless, the American has been working on his game behind the scenes.
Hank Haney reacts to Anthony Kim update

Hank Haney, who was formerly Tiger Woods’ coach, has reacted to footage of Kim working on his game.
“The is a great golf swing, keep it up Anthony Kim.”
Kim clearly still has a long way to go to get back to his previous high levels, but the 39-year-old’s determination cannot be criticised.
What next for Anthony Kim amid LIV Golf uncertainty
Kim is actually preparing for the International Series event in Qatar later this month as he plots his next steps.
The Asian Tour’s International Series is a direct feeder tour into the LIV Golf League. Patrick Reed, Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel will join Kim in Doha.
The order of merit winner from the International Series will be given a spot on LIV, and John Catlin, who was a reserve in 2024, currently leads the way with two events left.
What’s more, the top 32 finishers will be eligible to compete at the LIV Golf Promotions event next month, which is probably the reason why Kim is in the field.
