Anthony Kim’s return to golf with LIV Golf has hardly had the success in terms of results he would have wanted.

Kim made a return to the big stage by signing a big-money deal with the Saudi-backed tour.

The popular three-time PGA Tour winner had been absent from golf for a decade but decided to make his comeback after years of struggles.

Since then, Kim has at least brought some more eyes to the LIV product but his results have been pretty dismal to the say the least.

Kim has yet to finish inside the top 40 in a LIV event and while there has been glimpses of his game coming back, he’s nowhere near where he’d want to be.

However, working with his new positive mindset, Kim remains more than upbeat about his future and he’s posted on X to suggest just that.

Anthony Kim says he’s getting better every day ahead of LIV Greenbrier

Kim has been an active user on his social media ever since returning to golf and he’s carried on that trend over the weekend.

Prepping for the LIV event in Greenbrier, Kim has showed some of his work behind the scenes and has said that ‘great things are coming’.

Anthony Kim need some results to remain on LIV

Greg Norman has already explained how he pursued Kim and why he wanted him.

And in fairness, Kim was paid a healthy sign on bonus of around £5m just to join LIV.

However, as LIV continues to grow and they chase more and more top talent from the PGA and DP World Tours, you feel Kim needs to actually start playing well.

It’s nice to see him in a good headspace and feeling comfortable with his game coming along.

But, sooner or later the pressure will build and he’ll need to start getting some sort of result.

Failure to even finish in the top 40 this year is a bit of a downer and he’ll be looking to get that monkey off his back ASAP before advancing further.

Time, though, is very much ticking.
