Attention will now turn to the 2025 Ryder Cup after the United States dominated the Presidents Cup at Royal Montreal Golf Club.
Jim Furyk’s 12-man team bounced back from a disappointing Friday to seal a comfortable victory during Sunday’s singles in Quebec.
Keegan Bradley sealed victory, and the 38-year-old’s attention will now swiftly turn to the Ryder Cup, which begins at Bethpage Black next September.
Bradley hinted at keeping together the Presidents Cup roster, but the Ryder Cup captain could be set to axe some underperformers.
Here, The Golfing Gazette takes a look at those at risk of missing the trip to the famous Long Island course.

Brian Harman
Brian Harman had a Presidents Cup to forget. The lefty lost his singles match to Christian Bezuidenhout and left Royal Montreal with a 0-0-3 record, and USA fans slammed Harman’s performance.
Per Data Golf’s statistics, no player lost more strokes than Harman, with the American ending the tournament with -8.54 strokes gained.
Looking ahead to the Ryder Cup, it’s hard to envisage Bradley picking Harman, which means that the former Open Championship winner will have to qualify automatically.
Tony Finau
Tony Finau ended the Presidents Cup with a 2-2-0 record and will be slightly disappointed with his performance.
The Salt Lake City native was looking to end his week on a high during the singles but was comfortably beaten 5&3 by Corey Conners.
Finau has enjoyed a good career for the United States, but the 2024 Presidents Cup could be evidence that his days are numbered.
Sahith Theegala
Sahith Theegala ended the 2024 Presidents Cup with a 1-1-1 record in his debut appearance. The 26-year-old will undoubtedly be part of future teams, but there are questions to be answered.
Theegala ended the event with negative strokes gained and struggled during the foursomes on Friday. With LIV Golf players allowed to feature at the Ryder Cup, there’s every chance Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, or Patrick Reed will take Theegala’s place.
