We all know Donald Trump loves his golf and he’s never been shy in letting the world know just how good he is at the game either.
For years, golf fans have wondered just how good Trump is and we got a great insight into his game when he appeared alongside Bryson DeChambeau on his YouTube channel not so long ago.
Of course, Trump is currently in the final throws of trying to secure a second term as US president and we are just days away from finding out if he’s succeeded in that push.
Still, that doesn’t take away from his love for golf and we have no doubt he’s been getting the odd round in here and there during his campaign.
But just how good is Donald Trump at golf? And what’s the best score he’s actually shot?
Well, luckily for us, he has revealed this before and it’s quite remarkable.
Donald Trump’s best round of golf is remarkable
We have to go all the way back to 2014 and before Trump was even president to find his comments but it’s still impressive reading.
According to Trump himself, his best ever round is actually a stunning 66.
“Well, I’ve shot numerous times in the 60s, but I have the club record for an amateur at my course in Palm Beach, which is a world-class course, with a rating of 155,” Trump told Golf Digest.
When pressed on the actual score, Trump confirmed the following.
“Er, 66. From the blues. That’s from not all the way back, but it’s from the blues, so that’s pretty good.”
What is Donald Trump’s golf handicap?
Trump is well known for bigging his game up and he’s claimed to win a number of tournaments throughout his golfing ‘career’.
Trump’s actual handicap has been put around the 2.5 mark from the correct tees, which is not too shabby at all.
Joe Biden, meanwhile, is said to be off closer to seven and was a hot topic of discussion after Trump called Biden out on that figure earlier in the year.
Of course, we go back to the video with Bryson DeChambeau and at the time, golf fans were blown away by just how good Trump’s golf swing was.
Indeed, DeChambeau himself was even impressed in the video, such was Trump’s talent.
It’s safe to say, then, that the former US president is quite the golfer and unbelievably, he has the stats to back it up as well.
