Bryson DeChambeau has made a surprise suggestion to Donald Trump and Joe Biden to finally settle the duo’s ongoing handicap feud.

In a remarkable debate on Thursday evening [28 June], the presidential candidates managed to get on to the topic of golf handicaps.

Biden initially sparked the discussion by suggesting he’s previously got his handicap down to six during his time as vice president.

Trump replied: “That’s the biggest lie that he’s a six handicap, of all. I’ve seen your swing; I know your swing.”

The topic of golf, amazingly, was still talked about later on in the discussion.

Trump added: “Two regular club championships, not even senior. To do that, you have to be quite smart and have to be able to hit the ball a long way, and I do it.

“He doesn’t do it; he can’t hit a ball 50 yards. You challenge me to a golf match; you can’t hit the ball 50 yards.”

DeChambeau, who is the darling of the golfing world right now, has now offered to host a match between the presidential rivals, which will be held on his increasingly popular YouTube channel.

The US Open winner wrote on X: “Let’s settle this whole handicap debate; I’ll host the golf match on my YouTube @realDonaldTrump @JoeBiden.”

The two-time major champion hosting the two presidential candidates on his YouTube channel would undoubtedly be his most-watched video to date.

How many golf courses does Donald Trump own?

Away from his political duties, Trump’s love of golf is well documented.

After starting his career as a real estate developer, the American began acquiring and constructing golf courses in 1999.

Upon his election in 2016, Trump owned 17 courses worldwide, and several of his properties have been used for PGA and LPGA events.

The majority of Trump’s courses are located in the US, with three coming in Florida.

Three of the American’s courses are found in Britain and Ireland. Trump International and Trump Turnberry are located in Scotland, and Trump International Golf Links and Hotel Ireland.
