Series three of Full Swing is just days away from release, and some of golf’s biggest names are set to appear.

The first two series of the hit Netflix show provided never-before-seen insight into the PGA Tour at a time when some of the world’s best players quit golf’s traditional circuit and moved to LIV Golf.

Bryson DeChambeau didn’t feature during the first two series of the Netflix documentary despite the American’s LIV Golf move coinciding with the filming of season one.

However, after Netflix dropped its trailer, DeChambeau is set to feature heavily after his meteoric YouTube rise and second major win at Pinehurst No.2.

Here, The Golfing Gazette has examined the 12 players who will definitely appear in the third series of the hit show.

Bryson DeChambeau

It was some year for DeChambeau after he claimed his second major title. The LIV Golf star made $10,269,667 and is now one of the most popular figures in golf.

Netflix’s trailer focussed on the 31-year-old and there’s no doubt he will be a key storyline when the new series is finally released.

Justin Rose

Justin Rose was a key storyline during the second season as the Netflix cameras documented Luke Donald’s decision-making ahead of the 2023 Ryder Cup. Rose eventually received a pick and played an important role in Europe’s remarkable victory in Rome.

Rose’s 2024 Open Championship performance will likely be documented by the cameras after he came within touching distance of winning the Claret Jug at Royal Troon. Rose earned $3,058,683 from his 19 events played last year.

Rory McIlroy

Of course, Rory McIlroy will likely be one of the main characters in the new series. The Northern Irishman’s major heartbreak at Pinehurst will likely be revisited, as will his personal life.

Despite encountering hard times in 2024, McIlroy made over $10m and finished the year well on the DP World Tour, winning the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

Neal Shipley

Playing the 2024 Masters as an amateur, Neal Shipley made the cut and was paired alongside Tiger Woods during the final round at Augusta National, and there’s no doubt the Netflix cameras will tell that story.

Shipley played ten PGA Tour events in 2024 and earned $410,268. He’s back on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2025 after failing to earn a Tour card.

Keegan Bradley

Of course, USA Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley will be a star of the upcoming series. During the second season, Zach Johnson’s decision to snub Bradley for the 2023 Ryder Cup was one of the controversial storylines.

However, with Bradley in position ahead of the 2025 Ryder Cup, the Netflix cameras promise to paint a very different picture. Bradley won the 2024 BMW Championship during the FedEx Cup playoffs and earned $6,879,455.

Gary Woodland

The Netflix trailer also displayed 2019 US Open champ Gary Woodland, and the 40-year-old’s story could be one of the most poignant. Woodland underwent brain surgery in September 2023 and returned to the PGA Tour in January 2024.

Woodland earned $915,153 after returning to the Tour and finished 9th at the 2024 Shriners Children’s Open.

Scottie Scheffler

Perhaps the most obvious inclusion in the new series of Full Swing is Scottie Scheffler. The two-time major winner was part of season one, which documented his 2022 Masters Tournament victory.

After Scheffler’s remarkable PGA Tour season last year, there’s no doubt the Dallas native will be front and centre of our screens over the coming weeks. The world number one earned over $60m in prize money in 2024.

Min Woo Lee

Min Woo Lee is a new name set to feature in series three of Full Swing. The Aussie is one of the hottest young prospects on the PGA Tour and could be portrayed in a similar way to how Sahith Theegala and Tom Kim were during series one.

The Aussie earned $2,611,021 in 2024 and also featured on the International Presidents Cup team at Royal Montreal.

Camilo Villegas

A surprise name emerged from the trailer: Camilo Villegas. The 43-year-old is past his best but still played 26 events during the 2024 PGA Tour season.

Villegas was also vice-captain of the International Presidents Cup team and was involved in an incident with Kevin Kisner during the first day in Montreal. The Colombian earned $232,296 on the PGA Tour in 2024 and missed 19 of 26 cuts.

Three more players return for season three of Full Swing

Three more players will return for the third season of Full Swing, including Tony Finau, Justin Thomas, and Joel Dahmen. The latter became a hit among fans after he starred alongside his caddie, Geno.

Dahmen maintained his PGA Tour card at the RSM Classic after narrowly making the cut and eventually finishing in a tie for 35th.
