Scottie Scheffler is chasing a third Masters title at Augusta National this week, where he is the defending champion.
Brandel Chamblee thinks Scheffler will be hard to beat at Augusta, where he triumphed in both 2022 and 2024.
And the world number one is already off to a strong start at The Masters, which is currently midway through the first day of action.
Scheffler was in tied first through 10 in Georgia, level on three-under par with Tyrrell Hatton and Justin Rose.
He carded three birdies in a front-nine 33 at Augusta, where a third major championship win is on the cards for the American.

And as per Justin Ray, he has already made history at the event, with his front nine score tying the best by a defending Masters champion in round one over the last 30 years.
It is the fifth time it has happened in the history of the competition, which includes Scheffler achieving the feat two years ago.

This time around, he posted birdies on holes two, four and eight, with pars completing his front-nine scorecard.

Scheffler is currently taking on The Masters for the sixth time in his stunning career so far, having already become well-accustomed to winning the tournament.
A three-stroke victory was secured over Rory McIlroy in 2022, followed by a four-stroke win over Ludvig Aberg in 2024.
McIlroy and Aberg will now be out for revenge at Augusta, with the European duo paired together for rounds one and two.

As mentioned, their fellow European Justin Rose joined Scheffler in making a bright start, which involved making birdie, birdie, birdie for the first time in his Masters career, as per Justin Ray.
Scheffler meanwhile is playing alongside Justin Thomas and Jose Luis Ballester for his two opening rounds.
The former carded a one-over 37 in his first nine holes of this year’s competition, with the latter struggling with a four-over 40.
