Richard Bland has revealed one thing he absolutely loves about LIV Golf that the PGA Tour and DP World Tour don’t do very often.
It’s been a sensational couple of weeks for the Englishman after his second senior major triumph at the US Open and Cleeks’ team triumph in Houston.
After admitting he was fuming during the Singapore competition, the 51-year-old will be delighted with how recent events have unfolded.
Bland appears to be fully committed to LIV’s current format, and he explained what he loves about the breakaway tour in a recent interview with Golf Monthly.
Richard Bland loves LIV Golf’s current feedback policy

Bland claimed that LIV Golf constantly asking for feedback from players is unlike anything he’s experienced previously on the DP World Tour or PGA Tour.
“That’s one of the things I love about LIV,” he explained. “They’re still evolving. It was never going to be right on day one when we teed off at Centurion. The PGA Tour and DP World have been going on for years, and there’s probably still stuff they can change, and you have to evolve with the times.”
He added: “The one thing I love about LIV is that they’re constantly asking for feedback from the players. This isn’t a criticism of the DP World or any other tour that I’ve played on, but that doesn’t happen too much.”
LIV Golf has been perfect for players in Bland’s position
For Bland, moving to LIV Golf was a no-brainer.
The Englishman wasn’t a world-beater, so after being offered life-changing money for him and his family, making the switch was non-negotiable.
Furthermore, it’s refreshing to see how upfront the Englishman has been with his reasoning behind moving to LIV.
Over the past three years, several big names have suggested they’ve made the switch to ‘grow the game’ of golf.
Bland wasn’t in that category. It was purely for the money, and he happily admitted that—a stance more LIV Golf players should take.
