The field for the Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass has been announced. However, YouTube golf star Peter Finch will have to watch on from the sidelines.
The PGA Tour confirmed the Creator Classic field on Wednesday, and Wesley Bryan, George Bryan, Fat Perez, Gabby Golf Girl and Roger Steele are all returning after playing in the East Lake edition. Steele famously clocked some impressive ball speed numbers at the Tour Championship venue.
Finch, however, won’t be teeing it up at TPC Sawgrass despite playing the first iteration of the event. Instead, Grant Horvat, long-drive champ Kyle Berkshire, Tisha Alyn, Soly from No Laying Up, and a Barstool personality, who will be determined via qualifier, will make up the field.
Peter Finch shares truth about Creator Classic

Taking to X after the field was announced, Finch confirmed that he didn’t receive an invite rather than declining the opportunity to play.
“Many people are asking me about this, and no, I wasn’t invited this time to the Creator Classic; however, more are coming in 2025, so I’ll see if we can go over those. I loved the last iteration and would like to see some more international representation,” Finch wrote on X.
“Aside from that, it’s a great bunch of peeps playing and a chance to see some of your favourite creators up close if you have the opportunity at an iconic venue.”
Finch was critical of how the first Creator Classic was broadcast at East Lake after numerous commercial breaks interrupted the coverage.
What format is the Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass?
The tournament at TPC Sawgrass will be very similar to what the golfing world saw in Atlanta last year. It will be eight holes long and begin on the 10th. The three creators at the top of the standings after eight holes will move into a sudden-death playoff on the iconic par-three 17th.
During the first Creator Classic at East Lake, the regular contest ended on the 17th before the top three played the par-five 18th, so there is a slight adjustment has been made for the upcoming event.
Luke Kwon won the last Creator Classic. However, the former PGA Tour China golfer won’t land back-to-back titles. Kwon has been playing on the Asian Tour in a bid to reignite his professional career alongside his YouTube commitments.
The event will be streamed on the PGA Tour YouTube channel, the Golf Channel, ESPN+, and the PGA Tour Channel.
