The Creator Classic is making its return in 2025 and Phil Mickelson has now reacted after news emerged that PGA Tour player Wesley Bryan will be teeing it up again.
Last year’s event was won by Luke Kwon as the PGA Tour tapped into the world of content creators in a big way for the very first time.
This year, the event will be held at TPC Sawgrass and tags onto the beginning of the Players Championship, meaning the audience and fans on site will be significantly larger than last year.
A host of famous faces from the world of content creation will be playing and one of those is PGA Tour player and winner, Wesley Bryan.
Bryan – along with brother George – front up the ‘Bryan Bros’ YouTube channel and will be teeing it up as two of the favourites at Sawgrass. Indeed, Wesley finished second last year to winner, Luke Kwon.
However, over on social media, LIV Golf star Phil Mickelson has sarcastically mocked Bryan’s inclusion.
Phil Mickelson reacts as Wesley Bryan confirms for Creator Classic
As we know, Phil Mickelson is not seen on the PGA Tour at all anymore but his venture into YouTube since being on LIV has allowed him to strike up a friendship with Bryan and a few others.
And over on X, Mickelson gave his tongue-in-cheek reaction to Bryan getting the call for Sawgrass.
Not to be outdone, Bryan couldn’t resist biting back at Mickelson though, and he offered up a bit of a meet up when the Masters rolls around in a few months’ time.
Who else is playing in the Creator Classic 2025?
With so many stars across the world of golf right now in both the online sphere and the professional game, the Creator Classic is spoilt for choice.
Of course, Wesley Bryan is an anomaly given he is a pro and a content creator, but there are some other huge names in there as well.
10 players will tee it up this year, with the Bryan Bros taking two of those spots alongside some other familiar names.

With five fresh additions, the event will have a new feel to it and particular interest will be drawn to Grant Horvat – who has enjoyed a huge year on YouTube – and Kyle Berkshire, who is a long-drive world champion.
All in all, this is a positive step for the PGA Tour again and with it being tagged onto the players, it should draw plenty of interest.
