Patrick Cantlay heads into this week’s BMW Championship in the FedExCup Playoffs sitting in ninth place.
Cantlay finished T12 at the St Jude Championship at TPC Southwind, with Castle Pines now hosting the second playoff event.
East Lake hosts the Tour Championship, with the top 30 players making the cut after the top 50 battle it out at the BMW Championship.
Cantlay’s favourite course is The Riviera Country Club, but he is currently in Colorado as he looks to finish his season strongly.
It remains to be seen how the course will play, with the world’s top players set for a tough test regardless given what is at stake.

Patrick Cantlay makes driver prediction at the BMW Championship
But big driving could play a major factor, with Cantlay asked if big drives such as Max Homa’s 477 yard drive at The Sentry earlier this year.
Discussing the drive in his BMW Championship press conference, Cantlay said: “He must have hit a cart path or something, 477. I’m not sure. I think to hit it past 477, you’d need some extra special help.”
Homa top the list for longest drives this season, hitting his seventh tee shot at The Sentry 477 yards, which represents a PGA Tour longest drive record.

Homa isn’t the only player to have hit big at The Sentry, with three of the top five longest drives in PGA Tour history coming at the event, as per the PGA Tour website.
In the same round and on the same hole as Homa, Cameron Young launched his drive 470 yards, with Davis Love III managing 476 yards on the 18th back in 2004.

Jeff Sluman is third in the all-time list with his 473 yard drive at The American Express in 2003, with Charley Hoffman’s 467 at the 2009 Valero Texas Open completing the top five.
Cantlay may not be aiming to make his way onto that list at the BMW Championship, but he will be keen on rising the FedExCup points list this week.
The American, who finished on nine under at the St Jude Championship in Memphis, is yet to win in 2024, but has four top-10 finishes to his name.
