With the U.S. Open now within sight, a busy part of the 2024 PGA Tour season is in full swing.
The Charles Schwab Challenge was the latest competition to take place, with Davis Riley securing a five-shot victory over Scottie Scheffler, who carded a rare over-par final round in Fort Worth.
As always, it’s been non-stop action on the PGA Tour – and here, The Golfing Gazette has looked at the ten longest drives so far in the 2024 season.

10. Adam Schenk
Adam Schenk has the tenth-longest drive of 2024. Coming on the 18th hole at the Sentry – Schenk powered a 441-yard drive at the end of his third round.
9. Andrew Putnam
Also at the Sentry, Andrew Putnam launched a 443-yard drive down the 7th hole to land the ninth-longest drive of the 2024 season.
8. Davis Thompson
On the fourth hole at the Valero Texas Open, in his final round, Davis Thompson clocked a drive of 444 yards. Thompson’s effort is the only drive in the top ten that didn’t come at the Sentry.
7. Collin Morikawa
Collin Morikawa, like Schenk, found his way into the top ten thanks to his drive on 18 at the Sentry.
The American registered a 451-yard effort on the last hole of his third round.

6. Sahith Theegala
Sahith Theegala smashed a 452-yard drive on the 7th hole at the Sentry at the start of the year.
Amazingly, the American’s huge tee shot is only good enough for the sixth spot.
5. Harris English
Coming on the same hole as Theegala’s drive, Harris English managed to hit his teen shot 11 yards further with an effort of 463 yards.
4. Taylor Moore
Talyor Moore was one yard better off than English on the 7th hole on 463 yards.
Remarkably, three players managed to utilise the favourable conditions better.
3. Lucas Glover
Lucas Glover takes third spot with his drive of 465 yards at the Sentry, which is one of the biggest hits of the 2024 season thus far.
2. Cameron Young
Cameron Young’s 470-yard drive remarkably falls 7 yards shy of the longest drive of 2024.
Nevertheless, the American’s effort at the Sentry deserves plenty of credit.
1. Max Homa
Coming in at number one is Max Homa’s 477-yard drive on the 7th at the Sentry.
The American’s huge blow will likely be the biggest hit witnessed on the PGA Tour this season.
However, had Rory McIlroy been playing at the early season event, the Northern Irishman would’ve fancied his chances of toppling Homa’s effort.
