Min Woo Lee has now joined the exclusive list of PGA Tour winners, having just triumphed at the Houston Open.
Lee has been compared to Wyndham Clark after his maiden PGA Tour win, where he secured the title by one shot.
The Australian ended his four rounds at Memorial Park Golf Course on 20-under, in what was his seventh event of 2025.
Scottie Scheffler praised Lee after the tournament, with the American having finished joint second with compatriot Gary Woodland.
Lee had twice finished as runner-up on the PGA Tour, but has now clinched his first win after 56 tournaments played.

Min Woo Lee names Bay Hill as the hardest course he’s ever played
And it comes right before the Masters returns to Georgia’s Augusta National, a course that Lee has a lot of love for.
Asked for his favourite course on the PGA Tour by Golf Digest, the 26-year-old quickly responded: “Augusta National.”
And when asked for the hardest course he’s ever played, he replied: “I would say Bay Hill when it’s at the condition we played a couple of years ago.”
Min Woo Lee most nervous at ‘daunting’ Players Championship 17th hole
Lee only just took on Bay Hill for the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month, where he failed to make the cut.
He now turns his focus to his favourite course, with Augusta welcoming a long list of star names for the Masters later this month.

The PGA Tour is, however, first stopping at TPC San Antonio for the Valero Texas Open, but Lee is not in the field this week.
He also shared insight into two significant moments of his career so far, having been asked when he was most nervous over a shot and one mulligan he’d like to have.
Concerning the former, he said: “I think I’ve got to go back to the Players, I think the 17th hole there on the par three is pretty daunting.”
And regarding one career mulligan, Lee noted: “Fourth hole at The Players, I would like that wedge shot back.”
Lee fired a superb six-under 66 to share the lead at the Players Championship last month, but dramatically fell back to finish T20.
It was a tournament in which he finished T6 back in 2023 having been in contention until the closing stages, having carded a triple-bogey on the fourth in his final round.
