With the inaugural TGL set to start in January, Max Homa has made some quickfire predictions on what could happen during the opening season.
Excitement is building ahead of the innovative indoor league, and the TGL recently posted a video of the SoFi Centre in Palm Beach.
The first TGL matches will begin on Tuesday, January 7, before Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links start their season on January 14 against New York Golf Club.
Homa, who is the top-ranked player on Woods’ team, has now shared who he believes will be penalised the most for slow play in the TGL.
Max Homa makes Billy Horschel prediction
Speaking during a short clip shared by the TGL, Homa was asked: “Who will have the most shot clock violations in the TGL season?”
The American replied, “That’s a good question. I’ll pick on him and say, Billy.”
Horschel will represent Atlanta Drive GC and will first be in action on January 21 against New York City Golf Club.
Max Homa also takes aim at Presidents Cup star
Homa also took aim at an International Presidents Cup star in the short clip shared by the TGL.
The 34-year-old was asked: “Worst trash talker in the TGL?” Homa replied: “Tom Kim.” Kim was involved in an incident with Scottie Scheffler at the Presidents Cup and was somewhat of a polarising figure during the event at Royal Montreal Golf Club. Kim is also part of Jupiter Links GC.
Homa also predicted who would be the best putter in the indoor league and claimed that his Presidents Cup teammate Patrick Cantlay could be the man to beat.
Cantlay holed a series of clutch puts in Montreal, with Saturday’s foursome victory alongside Xander Schauffele proving vital.
