Keegan Bradley has some very big decisions to make ahead of the Ryder Cup in September.
Rich Beem is convinced that Bradley is going to play on the Ryder Cup team at Bethpage Black.
Bradley has performed exceptionally well on the PGA Tour this season, and as a result, he is in with a real shout of making his own Ryder Cup team.
Harris English was the latest in a long line of American players to back Bradley to play at the Ryder Cup in September.
Ben Griffin has claimed that Bradley is trying to change the mentality of the American Ryder Cup team from years gone by.
The 39-year-old wants a more cohesive unit – something that the Europeans have always had.
However, the big question being asked is, will Bradley actually play on his own team at Bethpage in September?
Keegan Bradley urged to pick himself for the Ryder Cup
Bradley – an eight-time PGA Tour winner – will undoubtedly make the US Ryder Cup team stronger if he selects himself.
The 39-year-old can, of course, still qualify automatically for the team, but even if he doesn’t, he should be part of the 12 at Bethpage.

That’s according to Brendon de Jonge, who has suggested that Bradley will be making a big mistake if he doesn’t select himself for the Ryder Cup.
De Jonge said: “It’s a little bit iffy towards the bottom of that list right now. As I look at that, I would say the first seven are locks, all the way through Justin Thomas.“
Then De Jonge was asked about Bradley down in 10th place.
He said: “I have him on the team. He’s a lock in my mind, in his mind, I don’t know yet. I think it would be a big mistake if he’s not playing golf at Bethpage. There are not 12 American guys who are better equipped to deal with the Ryder Cup. It’s a pressure cooker unlike anything else, and he’s proven that he can do it.“
That is spot on from De Jonge. Bradley is not only playing better than most other American players, but he also has the experience of actually winning matches at the Ryder Cup.
Keegan Bradley’s exceptional form in 2025
Bradley has been one of the most consistent American players on the PGA Tour in 2025.
Here is how his results look from this year on tour:
| Results | Bradley’s totals |
| Events played | 17 |
| Wins | 1 |
| Top-5s | 2 |
| Top-10s | 5 |
| Top-25s | 9 |
| Cuts missed | 1 |
As De Jonge says, Bradley not picking himself for the Ryder Cup team would be a big mistake.
There are simply not 12 American players who are better than him right now, that’s the bottom line.
The man from Vermont simply has to play at Bethpage Black later this year.
