Ben Griffin will be hoping to be on Keegan Bradley’s Ryder Cup team at Bethpage Black in September.
The upcoming Ryder Cup clash between the United States and Europe at Bethpage Black is expected to be one of the most exciting editions yet.
Bradley has played so well this season that he is expected to play on his own team at Bethpage.
Meanwhile, Griffin has come out of nowhere over the past few months to force his way into contention for the Ryder Cup team.
Bradley has announced that Bryson DeChambeau will be on his Ryder Cup team, while world number one Scottie Scheffler has already qualified.
The rest of the top six are locks for the team, but outside of that, it’s pretty much still all to play for.
Ben Griffin has noticed something about Keegan Bradley ahead of the Ryder Cup
Griffin was tipped to play at the Ryder Cup after his Charles Schwab Challenge win back in May.
He is currently sitting in ninth place in the U.S. Ryder Cup points list.

The general consensus is that he will be on Bradley’s team come September, but he still needs to finish the season strongly if he is to be guaranteed a Ryder Cup spot.
Griffin spoke to SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio, and lifted the lid on the culture that captain Bradley is trying to create.
“He’s got his hands full himself. He’s trying to figure out if he’s playing or if he is going to be the captain. It’s exciting times for the United States. We have a lot of golfers who are playing really good. We have Gotterup who has entered the conversation.
“I think for me as a golfer, I have to play as well as possible in the play-offs. I’m still trying to win the Tour Championship, I’m still trying to beat Scottie Scheffler. If I do the right things there, it’s going to take care of itself.
“This year, I think DeChambeau said it in an interview recently, the United States team is trying to make a big charge here, and trying to send a statement, because we’ve lost some Ryder Cups recently that have really stung.
“I think Keegan is an incredible guy to lead the way in terms of bringing the New York crowds together, in terms of just having that fire and mental attitude, self belief in each and every one of us.
“All of us have to do our part to be in the best shape possible coming out of the play-offs and getting ready for that.
“I’m just excited to even be in that conversation, it’s been an incredible year to even be a part of something like that, so I’m extremely grateful. I’m blessed to be in my position and I’ve got to try and continue to take advantage of it.
“Keegan’s mission this year as a captain has been to try and create a culture and a group together for the United States team. Make sure everyone feels like they are part of a team, even though he hasn’t assigned the 12 guys yet. He is just trying to spark some confidence in each player, start some self belief and make sure we have some culture where we go into that Ryder Cup feeling very, very confident.“
Bradley is clearly doing everything he can to create a different culture amongst the United States team.
He seems like he is intent on ensuring that the U.S. team are very much together as a unit – something they have really struggled with in the past.

Here is how the next nine places in the standings are shaping up right now:

| 8 | Collin Morikawa | 9743.61 |

| 13 | Andrew Novak | 6560.15 |
| 14 | Patrick Cantlay | 6069.39 |
| 15 | Sam Burns | 5620.39 |
The general consensus is that Griffin’s place on Bradley’s Ryder Cup team is pretty safe right now.
However, the 29-year-old cannot afford to switch off and finish the season poorly.
Griffin has to go out there and prove to Bradley that he didn’t have a one-month hot streak and that he is here to stay.
