Keegan Bradley is among the high-profile names taking on the PGA Championship this week, hosted by Quail Hollow.
But Bradley will also have the 2025 Ryder Cup on his mind, with Bethpage Black playing host to the team event in September.
Bradley has enjoyed Justin Thomas’s success in recent times, but success from American players hasn’t been common on the PGA Tour in 2025.
Bradley should be worried about European success this season, with Rory McIlroy and Sepp Straka already boasting two wins each.
Both Europeans are in the field for the PGA Championship, with McIlroy paired with Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele for rounds one and two.

Keegan Bradley makes Andrew Novak request at the PGA Championship
Bradley meanwhile has been paired with Andrew Novak and Maverick McNealy for Thursday and Friday at Quail Hollow.
And that pairing has now been discussed on Dan on Golf, with Dan Rapaport noting: “Andrew Novak has done it. He has sustained it this year.

“He got the captain wants to watch you tee time. Keegan Bradley is playing with Maverick McNealy and Andrew Novak.”
Responding, Rick Gehman said: “It’s like I need to get some real eye balls on you because September is coming quickly.”
And when it was asked: “Is that how it works? Keegan gets a preference?” Rapaport replied: “Absolutely!”
Andrew Novak US Ryder Cup qualification place ahead of the PGA Championship
Plenty of eyes will be on Bradley given both his role as American Ryder Cup captain but also as a potential player.
But Novak is also certain to attract attention in North Carolina, having recently clinched his first-ever PGA Tour win.
The American triumphed at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans last month, lifting the trophy alongside Ben Griffin.
He has already made a huge 15 starts on the PGA Tour in 2025 so far, with Novak boasting one win and one runner-up finish from his nine cuts made.
