Keegan Bradley has dropped a hint that two players are potentially being considered for the United States Ryder Cup team.

Bradley is still determined to qualify for the team as a player, but it’s looking more likely each week that he will be limited to captaincy only.

That’s not to say that he’s taking the role lightly, with his preparations for Bethpage in full swing.

Bradley asked to play with rising star Andrew Novak at the PGA Championship, and he seemingly did the same with Russell Henley at the Memorial Tournament.

Now, the captain is set to walk Oakmont Country Club with two more Ryder Cup hopefuls ahead of the US Open.

Keegan Bradley to play with two Ryder Cup hopefuls in US Open practice round

The US Open has released the tee times for the practice rounds on Tuesday at Oakmont.

Bradley will tee off alongside Brian Harman and Gary Woodland on the first hole at 11:42 Eastern Time.

Harman is currently ranked 11th in the US Ryder Cup standings, so he is firmly in contention to make the 12-man squad for Bethpage.

The 38-year-old scored two points in 2023, bettered only by Max Homa (3.5), despite the crushing 16.5-11.5 defeat to the Europeans.

By contrast, Woodland’s chances of making the team are slim to none. He is only 44th in the standings.

However, the 41-year-old appears to have the competitive spirit that would see him flourish in the Ryder Cup atmosphere.

He probably needs to finish somewhere around the top 20 mark at Oakmont to properly elevate himself into contention.

Four LIV Golf stars to play together on Tuesday at the US Open

Perhaps the most exciting group to follow on Tuesday at the US Open consists of four LIV Golf stars.

Jon Rahm, Tyrell Hatton, Dustin Johnson, and Phil Mickelson are teeing off on hole 10 at 1:25 pm.

While there are examples of PGA Tour and LIV Golf stars mixing, like Patrick Reed and Min Woo Lee, they do tend to stay apart.

This goes to show the tensions between the two rival tours still remain, and it doesn’t look like they will be quashed anytime soon.
