Jon Rahm is set to embark on his first off-season with LIV Golf, and the Spaniard has spoken about what could happen upon the conclusion of the 2024 campaign.

Rahm has enjoyed a brilliant first season since turning his back on the PGA Tour and becoming one of the highest-paid golfers of all time.

The Spaniard is now eyeing LIV Golf’s Individual Championship at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Chicago. Rahm admitted a win is required to pip Joaquin Niemann to the title.

Now, as the off-season approaches, the two-time major winner has spoken about the possibility of players leaving and joining his team, Legion XIII.

LIV Golf’s transfer window has been criticised after no moves materialised during the mid-season trading period.

Rahm, however, envisages plenty of action when the 2024 season concludes.

“I know Jeff has been thinking about it and the possibilities,” Rahm said during his press conference in Chicago. “I haven’t, obviously. A lot depends on what happens this week because if Kieran [Vincent] doesn’t have a good week, then yeah, we’re going to have to think about some possible moves. You never know. You never know what may happen.”

“I am intrigued, as well. As my first off-season and trade world experience for LIV Golf, I am interested in seeing what may happen.”

Rahm then explained he’d heard rumours of interest in some of Legion XIII’s stars.

He continued: “I’ve heard rumours of different interests from teams in different players, some of my players, which with the year we’ve had, I hope they don’t want to go anywhere. So yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what happens.”

Legion XIII will dominate as long as Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton remain

Rahm’s performance in 2024 has been backed up brilliantly by his teammate Tyrrell Hatton. The Englishman has a win to his name and was unfortunate not to add a second during the UK event at JCB.

Hatton currently sits third in the standings and will be looking to finish his season on a high.

Moving to LIV has seemingly brought out the best in Hatton and Rahm’s games. The duo are nearly always in contention and appear to be enjoying their golf.

Provided they stay together for the 2025 season, Legion XIII will likely be the dominant force over the coming years. And, who knows? There’s every chance of Rahm and Hatton recruiting some fresh faces in the coming months.
