Jon Rahm continues his search for a first LIV Golf win of 2025 this week as he takes on the event in Korea.
LIV Golf Korea takes place at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in South Korea, with Rahm second in the individual points list.
Fans are worried for LIV Golf after figures from last week’s event in Mexico City emerged, where Joaquinn Niemann came out on top.
Niemann sits ahead of Rahm at the top of the individual rankings, with three wins from his six tournaments.
Rahm’s fellow Spaniard Sergio Garcia meanwhile occupies third spot, with Lucas Herbert and Bryson DeChambeau completing the top five.

Whether Jon Rahm prefers a LIV Golf individual or team win
Former PGA Tour star Rahm has, however, helped guide Legion XIII to the top of the team standings ahead of LIV Golf Korea.
And he was forced to touch upon that scenario in his opening press conference, having been asked to choose between an individual win and a team win.

Also asked to explore the team play that takes place on LIV Golf and not the PGA Tour, he said: “That’s a good question. I haven’t gotten this in a while.
“It’s hard because you need both, right? If I want the team to do well, obviously all scores count every day, I need to play well as well. It’s hard to choose one.
“If I play bad, the team’s not going to… my teammates, obviously if I play better, they’re going to have to play really well. You need both to be good.
“Last year you could get lucky if you had a couple of bad rounds and not count unless it was on Sunday. This year you can’t.
“Everybody has to play good every day because some teams are always going to… every week somebody is going to play good as a team.
“So you need both. You can’t sacrifice either. I would like both of us to be good. Then obviously the only team event we ever had as pros being Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup, and it used to be the World Cup.

“Now the Olympics isn’t even a team sport. It might be coming up in the future. We didn’t have a lot of experience.
“I feel like it’s always been easier for a crowd and supporters to get behind a team than an individual. I think you create a bigger fan base that way. With LIV doing all this in a new way, I think it’s bringing a different aspect to the game of golf.
“Something I always enjoyed, my whole life I’ve been part of a team until I turned professional. All of my fondest memories in golf, all the ones I remembered as the most fun was when we accomplished something as a team. It was a lot more fun to celebrate together.
“Even though individual wins are great and you have your own individual team, it’s not the same as sharing the stage with someone and celebrating those wins.
“Some of my best memories, even though we lost, was sharing the course with Sergio at Whistling Straits and playing with him because that was something we both share.
“It’s something that was very special to me, and I think it’s becoming special to a lot of people is getting behind a team and seeing us do well together.”
Jon Rahm and Legion XIII 2025 results ahead of LIV Golf Korea
Rahm only joined LIV Golf from the PGA Tour in late 2023, but the two-time major champion has already made a huge impact.
He won the individual title on debut, and has made a very strong start to his defence this season, with six top 10 finishes so far.
| Jon Rahm | Legion XIII | |
| Riyadh | T2 | 1 |
| Adelaide | 6 | 2 |
| Hong Kong | T6 | T5 |
| Singapore | T5 | 2 |
| Miami | T9 | 4 |
| Mexico City | 4 | 1 |
Chilean Niemann is, however, very much the player to beat in these early stages, while veteran Garcia has been piling on the pressure.
And while Legion XIII captain Rahm is clearly eager for team success, it is highly likely that another individual title sits at the top of his list of priorities.
