YouTube golf has become absolutely huge in recent years and the recent addition of Bryson DeChambeau to the space has elevated things further.
DeChambeau has had some massive names on his channel and famously had the next US President, Donald Trump, on a video that did huge numbers.
DeChambeau has admitted that Tiger Woods is his dream guest and it would be no surprise to see Bryson pull it off at some point in the future.
Of course, we see a lot of big names get involved in their own way as well. Tommy Fleetwood has been on Rick Shiels’ channel, while Collin Morikawa, Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson have all put themselves forward on different channels as well.
Another top player to get involved a few times is Jon Rahm. The Spaniard has appeared on a few big channels over the years, with his LIV Golf schedule now allowing him the time and freedom.
However, when it comes to actually starting his own channel, Rahm is pretty sure on the answer.

Jon Rahm says if he’d copy Bryson DeChambeau and start a YouTube channel
Rahm was asked the question by a member of the Bob Does Sports team on a recent video and it seems the Spaniard isn’t going to be getting involved anytime soon.
“Knowing my personality it would probably consume too much of my time that I should actually focus on being a better golfer,” Rahm responded quickly.
Bryson DeChambeau has admitted YouTube helped him win the US Open
While YouTube will always have its critics and there’ll be opposition to it, there’s no doubt it’s a huge platform for the game in general.
We’ve seen the PGA Tour sanction the creator classic, while Wesley Bryan splits his time between playing on the TOUR and doing his YouTube channel with his brother, George.
Furthermore, Bryson DeChambeau has even spoken of how being on YouTube helped him when it came to winning the US Open.
Speaking about his decisive shot out of the rough in the final hole, the American attributed YouTube with helping him prepare.
“Funny enough, I didn’t think it was going that far left,” said DeChambeau. “I thought it was going in the TIO area, and I was going to get some relief, and it would have been controversial, I am sure. But no, it didn’t. I hit off somebody’s belly area and shot over, left, and underneath the tree.”
He added: “The point being, though, is that it went into some root areas, and the tree was pretty much on top of me. What’s funny is I’ve done so many quirky challenges on YouTube that actually prepared me for that moment.”

Whether other golfers will see the value in being on such videos and doing what DeChambeau does, remains to be seen.
But in the future, it won’t be a surprise at all to see another big name start a channel.
