Jon Rahm is back in Spain this week as he prepares to take on the Andalucia Masters at Real Club de Sotogrande.
Rahm loves the Sotogrande course, with the DP World Tour event providing the Spaniard with another chance to climb the world rankings.
The LIV Golf star currently occupies 14th place in the world rankings, with Rahm ninth in the Team Europe Ryder Cup rankings.
Home success is certainly possible for the former PGA Tour ace, who finished second at the Open de Espana last month.
Rahm lost out in a playoff to compatriot Angel Hidalgo in Madrid, and followed that up with a T7 finish at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

LIV Golf star Jon Rahm confirms whether he’d play a PGA Tour event again
Spanish star Rahm angered fans by suggesting a PGA Tour return, with the two-time major champion outlining his ideal scenario between the two rival tours.
But he has now clarified his stance, having been asked on Golf Sin Etiquetas about the ‘social media hoax’ around him missing the PGA Tour.
Translated from Spanish, Rahm said: “Oh well I was laughing about that, are there tournaments that I miss? Yes. Did I miss Torrey Pines? Yes. Palm Springs, Phoenix and Riviera? Yes.
“I’ve also won three of the four, right? I’ve done well but they are cities, that for me going to play in San Diego is very special, Palm Springs is also very special, yes that, I miss the fewest tournaments, yes I’m going to say the same thing. If one day they let me, will I go to play? Sure.
“Like this coming January if the PGA Tour lets us, I’ll definitely play the two tournaments before LIV starts.”
It was then put to him: “It’s clear that Jon Rahm is comfortable in LIV and happy?” with the Spaniard replying: “Yes, that’s right, I’m delighted!”
Jon Rahm chasing 2025 European Ryder Cup spot
Real Club de Golf Sotogrande is hosting its second Andalucia Masters, having previously been held at the nearby Valderrama Golf Club.
But the latter has since taken on a LIV Golf event, welcoming the likes of Rahm and his fellow breakaway tour players.
Rahm knows all about winning on the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, with 11 titles on the former and 10 on the latter.

He clearly enjoys playing across all the tours, but whether they can reach an agreement where he can compete on all three remains to be seen.
His main priority is, however, seemingly securing a Ryder Cup play for 2025, when New York’s Bethpage Black plays host.
European fans and indeed some players may not like the presence of LIV players at the prestigious event, but it is clear that they stand a better chance of winning with Rahm on their side.
