Chilean star Joaquin Niemann has revealed what he will do if he makes a hole-in-one in the LIV Golf League after Patrick Reed recorded an iconic ace in Adelaide.
Playing the watering hole (no.12), the Texan struck a perfect eight-iron, which took two hops and rolled into the bottom of the cup, sparking crazy scenes.
Reed’s ace comes two years after Chase Koepka made a hole-in-one on the same par-three. However, the celebrations after Reed’s effort were unlike anything seen on LIV before.
In fact, his hole-in-one probably ranks alongside Bryson DeChambeau’s 58 at Greenbrier in all-time LIV Golf moments. The 12th at The Grange is the best place to make an ace on the LIV schedule, and Niemann has a treat in store for the fans if he ever achieves such a feat.
What Joaquin Niemann will do if he makes LIV Golf hole-in-one
“I will do a backflip if I make a hole-in-one, yeah, 100 per cent. It’s got to be worth it,” Niemann said during his post-round press conference.

“I really missed it. I really enjoy playing in front of a lot of people, and especially the Australian people,” he added on the fans in Adelaide.
“They are really energized. They’re having fun. They love watching golf. It’s fun for me to go out there and try to hit golf shots and try to impress them and get a few claps, so it’s fun.”
Joaquin Niemann drops verdict on Australian crowds in Adelaide
Having previously won the Australian Open, Niemann explained why playing down under suits him.
“I feel like one of them is definitely the crowd,” the Chilean explained.
“The Australian crowd is really good. They kind of like me a little bit, I think, and you can feel the energy. There were a few guys following around, really energized, enjoying my shots, enjoying when I was making a putt. So that gets me going also to me. So I think that’s one of the reasons.
“Also, the courses here are always in great condition. The turf is a little bit firmer. I think I like that; then I see the ball rolling a lot on the fairways and on the greens. I feel like my game is good, and if it’s good on these courses, then I love the crowd here.”
Joaquin Niemann’s first round at LIV Golf Adelaide
Niemann is currently one shot back of the lead after carding a five-under 67 at The Grange.
Starting on the fourth, Niemann picked up six shots in an eleven-hole stretch, which placed him at the top of the leaderboard. However, a dropped shot on the par-four first saw him fall into a tie for second alongside his teammate Sebastian Munoz.
Englishman Sam Horsfield currently leads the way on six under after posting a bogey-free opening 18. Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka are also well-positioned at the top of the leaderboard.
Koepka, who is well-suited to the firm and fast conditions, is three under after making three consecutive birdies towards the back end of his round.
Former Masters champ Johnson is four under after making six birdies during his opening 18.
