It’s a competition that has been going on for well over 100 years and is guaranteed to be in demand when it comes to ticket sales.

How to buy Ryder Cup tickets

Fans interested in purchasing tickets for the 2025 Ryder Cup can register ahead of the official date they go on sale, which is in November 2024.

The Ryder Cup is unique in the fact that the ticket selection process is chosen through an entirely random selection process, meaning that there is always a higher demand than what is available.

Only one registration per person is allowed.

Alternatively, those who have a Citi card membership can apply for the opportunity to purchase tickets in October via an exclusive Citi presale.

They warn that registering doesn’t necessarily guarantee an access code or that you will be able to purchase tickets, when they go on sale in October 2024.

Other packages such as hospitality, VIP, and official travel packages are also available to buy.

Finally, if you’re unable to get tickets, there is always the chance to volunteer on the weekend of the competition.

When is the next Ryder Cup?

The next Ryder Cup takes place in 2025 and will be played across the week of 23-28 September.

Practice sessions will take place between 23 September-25 September before the 45th edition of the competition begins on Friday 26 September – 28 September.

Where is the Ryder Cup held?

This edition of the Ryder Cup will take place at Bethpage Black on Long Island, New York state.

It’ll be just the second time New York has hosted the tournament, with the only other occasion coming in 1995 at Oak Hill Country Club, where Europe ran out 14.5-13.5 winners.

When does the Ryder Cup take place?

The Ryder Cup is a biennial men’s competition that takes place every two years.

Europe and the USA switch between being hosts and 2027 will see Adare Manor, in County Limerick, Ireland host that edition.
