The final round of the BMW Championship is now underway, with Robert MacIntyre having led by four shots going into Sunday’s action.
MacIntyre proved his Ryder Cup credentials on day three at Caves Valley, the host of this year’s BMW Championship.
The Scot entered the final round on 16-under, with world number one Scottie Scheffler four shots behind in second.
Ludvig Aberg occupied solo third ahead of round four, while Sam Burns and Harry Hall were tied for fourth.
MacIntyre and Scheffler have been paired together for the final round of the event, where the top 30 will progress to the Tour Championship.

Four-time PGA Tour winner withdraws from BMW Championship
The top 50 previously made the cut from the St. Jude Championship, which Justin Rose won via a playoff with J.J. Spaun.
The BMW Championship field was, however, reduced after Sepp Straka withdrew from the tournament due to a personal matter.
And it has since been further reduced for Sunday’s final round, with Daniel Berger withdrawing due to injury.
He was sitting T29 on the leaderboard on two-over, and had been scheduled to play with recent winner Rose.

Berger has impressed on the PGA Tour in 2025 so far, although he has yet to add to his win tally this season.

It remains to be seen how long he will be out for amid his current injury, with the rapid PGA Tour schedule continuing with next week’s Tour Championship at East Lake.
Not long after, of course, the Ryder Cup takes place at Bethpage Black, and Berger is currently 19th in the American team rankings.
The 32-year-old’s wins throughout his career have arrived at the 2016 and 2017 FedEx St. Jude Classic, the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge, and the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
