Cameron Smith has been really enjoying himself since his switch from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf in 2022.
Smith guided Ripper GC to Team Championship success this season, with the all-Australian group triumphing in Dallas.
Ripper won twice and had two runner-up finishes before securing the lucrative prize last month, with Smith shining brightly as captain.
LIV Golf star Smith will now be eyeing another successful season in 2025, which begins in Riyadh in February.
Smith is delighted about his move to LIV Golf, although the Australian icon is now keen on a change to the schedule.

Ripper GC captain Cam Smith wants new LIV Golf tournament
Recent LIV Golf champion Smith has suggested that many players are eager for a LIV Golf links tournament before the The Open Championship.
It comes after the PGA Tour stars took on the Scottish Open prior to the major championship, with LIV Golf having headed to Valderrama in Spain.
“It was really two polar opposites of golf,” Smith told News AU after The Open in mid-July. “It was really hot, the ball was going a long way up in altitude, and then getting on to links where it’s quite cold and windy, it’s probably not the best prep. It’s definitely something that we spoke about. They (LIV) are well aware of that.”
And discussing a potential LIV Golf links stop, Smith told reporters ahead of the Queensland PGA Championship this week: “I don’t know if it’ll happen next year, but definitely in the future it’s something that we want to do.”
LIV Golf could make smart move by adding new links tournament
Adding such a tournament could be a very smart move by LIV Golf, with Smith having missed the cut at this year’s Open Championship.
The 2022 Open winner, who has six PGA Tour titles, really struggled at Royal Troon, with Spanish ace Rahm finishing T7.

Bunkered reported that a total of 16 LIV Golf players took part, with nine managing to make it beyond the Friday.

PGA Tour star Xander Schauffele meanwhile, who prepared for the major on the East Lothian links at the Scottish Open, lifted the Claret Jug.
There is, of course, the tricky issue of scheduling, with adding a new tournament to the calendar much easier said than done.
