LIV Golf UK gets underway at JCB Golf and Country Club on Friday, and Bryson DeChambeau, of course, is one of the main attractions.
DeChambeau struggled at last week’s Open Championship, finishing three shots outside the cut line on nine over.
However, the American’s performance at Royal Troon was swiftly forgotten after he collaborated with Donald Trump in his latest YouTube video.

Bryson DeChambeau now focussed on LIV Golf UK at JCB
After an eventful week, DeChambeau’s attention has now shifted to LIV’s latest event at the unique JCB course in Uttoxeter.
Lee Westwood outlined the course’s difficulty in his pre-tournament press conference, and Patrick Reed also ridiculed the extremely thick rough.
2024 US Open winner DeChambeau believes his wedge game will need to be dialled in if he’s to be successful this week.
“I think the wedge aspect will be really hugely important for me,” said the big-hitting American.
“A guy that hits it a little bit further than most just being able to have your wedges dialled in. Hitting the fairways is huge. Missing the fairways, there are still opportunities where you can’t get to the green.”
DeChambeau went on to claim that “challenging” is the right word to describe the JCB test.
He added: “It’s a challenging test, and I don’t think many people have seen apart from Sam [Horsfield].”
Exclusive venue set to host LIV stars this week
JCB is arguably the most unique stop on LIV Golf’s rota. The Uttoxeter venue is one of the most exclusive courses in the UK, yet it doesn’t have one private member.
The company use the club as a marketing tool to promote the sale of products. Furthermore, businesses can purchase memberships, which allow them to have a specific number of corporate rounds per year.
JCB employees can also use the course for a reasonable price on a Sunday afternoon but at no other time in the week. It’s refreshing to see LIV use unique and exciting venues, and JCB Golf and Country Club is undoubtedly in that category.
