2024 FedEx Cup standings: 50 players qualify for BMW Championship as first Playoff event concludes

The FexEx Cup Playoffs are in full swing! The Golfing Gazette takes a look at the latest standings.

The Playoffs consist of three tournaments: the FedEx St Jude Championship, the BMW Championship and the Tour Championship.

The top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings after the recent Wyndham Championship qualified for the St Jude, where Hideki Matsuyama beat Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele by two shots.

The standings have since been updated and only the top 50 will compete at the BMW Championship, with the field to be reduced to 30 ahead of next week’s Tour Championship.

Here are the 50 players who have qualified for the BMW Championship, with $20 million prize money up for grabs.

Only the top 30 after play concludes on Sunday will be invited to the Tour Championship at East Lake, which Hovland won last season.
