Tommy Fleetwood claimed more than just his first PGA Tour win when he emerged victorious at the Tour Championship; he also scaled the list of the highest-earners this season.
For the last few years, golfing neutrals have been rooting for Tommy Fleetwood to land his first win on the PGA Tour, and he’s finally done it.
Fleetwood is a hugely popular figure and he left many delighted with his fantastic Tour Championship victory at East Lake back in August.
He secured a three-shot win over Russell Henley and Patrick Cantlay, which also helped him secure the FedExCup and a further $10 million in prize money.
That triumph naturally saw Fleetwood climb the rankings for highest-earners on the PGA Tour for 2025, so here’s a look at the top ten.

PGA Tour top 10 earners of 2025 after Tommy Fleetwood wins Tour Championship
The FedExCup Playoffs have now concluded and as expected, all three champions have found themselves among the top 10 earners on the PGA Tour this season following their success.
A dominant Scottie Scheffler tops the list with $27,659,550, coming from six wins this season. This year, the world number one won the CJ Cup Bryon Nelson ($1.78 million), the PGA Championship ($3.42 million), the Memorial ($4 million), The Open ($3.1 million), the BMW Championship ($3.6 million), and the Procore ($1.08 million). He also finished in the top ten in 17 of his 20 events.
Fleetwood’s recent success has seen him rise six places in the money list to take second spot, with earnings of $18,496,238. His biggest earnings this season include the $10 million for the Tour Championship, $1.16 million at the FedEx St. Jude, and $1.76 million at the Travelers Championship.
Rory McIlroy, who won The Masters earlier this year, has dropped one spot to third after the Tour Championship with $16,992,418. After another successful year, McIlroy has climbed the list of the all-time highest-earning golfers, though.
Henley and J.J. Spaun complete the top five, with figures of $14,633,556 and $13,138,722 respectively for 2025. The former bagged $4 million for winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March, while Spaun’s unexpected win at the US Open saw him claim $4.3 million in prize money.
| Rank | Player | Money | Wins |
| 1 | Scottie Scheffler | $26,579,550 | 6 |
| 2 | Tommy Fleetwood | $18,496,238 | 1 |
| 3 | Rory McIlroy | $16,992,418 | 3 |
| 4 | Russell Henley | $14,707,570 | 1 |
| 5 | J.J. Spaun | $13,138,722 | 1 |
| 6 | Justin Thomas | $10,883,495 | 1 |
| 7 | Sepp Straka | $10,650,894 | 2 |
| 8 | Ben Griffin | $9,990,352 | 2 |
| 9 | Patrick Cantlay | $9,405,106 | – |
| 10 | Justin Rose | $8,857,976 | 1 |
Justin Thomas, Sepp Straka, Ben Griffin, Patrick Cantlay, and Justin Rose complete the top ten at this stage of the season.
We’ve seen something of a resurgence from Thomas this year, with the popular US golfer climbing back up the Official World Golf Rankings. He’s clinched one win this season, at the RBC Heritage to claim $3.6 million, while he’s also been runner-up on three occasions.
Straka won two events this season, with the American Express and the Truist Championship earning the Austrian $5.18 million. Griffin had a good year, too, with wins at the Zurich Classic and Charles Schwab bringing in just over $3.03 million.
Cantlay is the only golfer in the top ten not to have won an event this year, but a T2 finish at the Tour Championship earned him $4.35 million alone.
Rose has had a brilliant year, too. Losing the play-offs to McIlroy at The Masters still earned the British icon $2.26 million, while his win at the FedEx St. Jude brought in $3.6 million.
Scottie Scheffler dominates PGA Tour money list since 2021
Once again, it’s Scottie Scheffler who leads the way on the PGA Tour in terms of victories and prize money. That’s now four years in a row that the US star has finished top of the pile for earnings.
The last man to beat him to that particular crown was Jon Rahm back in 2021, with the Spaniard claiming $7.7 million after a successful year that included a US Open victory.
| Year | Player | Money |
| 2025 | Scottie Scheffler | $26.6m |
| 2024 | Scottie Scheffler | $29.2m |
| 2023 | Scottie Scheffler | $21m |
| 2022 | Scottie Scheffler | $14m |
| 2021 | Jon Rahm | $7.7m |
Interestingly, Scheffler is not the biggest earner in the world of golf for 2025. If you compare Scheffler and Rahm’s earnings for the year, it’s the latter who actually bagged the most prize money.
Rahm may not have won an event on the LIV Golf calendar, but he did win the Individual Championship which netted him a massive $18 million. Add that to his $11.36 million earnings from the regular season, and his $2.25 million Indianapolis runner-up prize, and Rahm has walked away with $31.61 million this year.
