Scottie Scheffler would be forgiven if he wanted to take a step back and appreciate his efforts in 2024, but that doesn’t look likely.

However, despite his dominance on the course for such a long time, Scheffler still doesn’t attract the biggest TV ratings on the PGA Tour.

Scheffler’s stock yardages for every club emerged ahead of The Showdown, where he joined Rory McIlroy in beating Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka.

The world number one teamed up with the Northern Irishman at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, where the PGA Tour got one over LIV Golf.

Scheffler was, however, very much out on his own in 2024 with his success, with seven PGA Tour titles going his way.

The American capped off his stunning season by winning the Tour Championship, securing his 13th career title.

And as per Justin Ray, Scheffler achieved another fantastic feat with that season-ending victory in Atlanta.

“Scottie Scheffler got his 13th PGA Tour win at the Tour Championship, just 931 days after getting his first win,” Ray wrote on X.

“It’s the shortest amount of time between a player’s 1st and 13th Tour win since 1960 (2nd: Jack Nicklaus, 1,029 days).”

What other records did Scottie Scheffler achieve in 2024?

World number one Scheffler clinched his second Masters title and second major win in 2024, along with a gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

The 28-year-old also became the first player ever to win consecutive Players Championship titles, while he followed in the footsteps of Tiger Woods by winning seven tournaments in a single season.

Unsurprisingly, the PGA Tour Player of the Year award went his way, where Scheffler again emulated Woods by earning the honour for the third successive season.

Unfortunately for his fellow professionals, Scheffler doesn’t look like he wants to slow down anytime soon, with more records surely now being eyed.
