24 players competed at the biggest team event in professional golf last week, the Ryder Cup.
The 12 best golfers from both the United States and Europe went head-to-head for three days at Bethpage Black.
The USA were the home favorites in New York, but the Europeans dominated the first two days and eventually won 15-13.

Every United States player’s Ryder Cup record
The United States team for the 2025 Ryder Cup were far less experienced than their European opposition.
Captain Keegan Bradley picked four rookies, and only Justin Thomas had played more than three times before.

Patrick Cantlay had by far the most impressive record before Bethpage Black, winning five and a half points from eight matches.
However, Thomas, Xander Schauffele, and Cameron Young now look like the United States’ three best Ryder Cup performers.
Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau are the two best American players on paper, but their performances at Bethpage Black flattered to deceive.
Every European player’s Ryder Cup record
The European Ryder Cup team were almost unchanged, as captain Luke Donald only made one alteration from two years ago in Rome.
Rasmus Hojgaard replaced his twin brother Nicolai, and the other 11 players from the winning team kept their places.
