It wasn’t to be for Team USA and Bryson DeChambeau at this year’s Ryder Cup and some 24 hours after losing, the LIV Golf star has finally posted on social media.

DeChambeau was one of a few Americans to come out with some credit from the tournament as he did his best to hype things up, while on Sunday, he produced the mother of all comebacks to tie with Matt Fitzpatrick.

As we all know, DeChambeau is one of the most popular players in the world and his social media channels are awash with content on a weekly basis.

It is a surprise, then, that it’s taken DeChambeau a bit of time to digest the loss and ultimately, post his thoughts on Instagram.

Some golf fans will argue that Bryson DeChambeau is very much a marmite character and by his own admission, he’d probably say he’s not for everyone.

However, he is a brilliant golfer and his comeback against Fitzpatrick proved just how good he is.

Now, over on Instagram, DeChambeau has kept it classy with a short and simple message following Team USA’s second successive loss.

Bryson DeChambeau has surely secured his place in 2027

The points might not have been there for DeChambeau and he might have had to settle for a tie on Sunday, but he has done enough at Bethpage to suggest he’ll be back at Adare Manor.

DeChambeau was more than just a hype man and in reality, he deserves enormous credit for how he went about the build up and the event itself.

Everyone knows he is one of the best golfers in the world and at times, he showed it.

The partnership with Cam Young was particularly intriguing and that’s something the US team will surely look to build on in the future.

As always, DeChambeau seems to have made an impression and whoever is in charge in 2027 will have a tough time leaving him out.
